TS Financial Holding was created through a merger of Tashin Holdings and Shin Kong Financial Holding in 2025. Tashin and Shin Kong were founded by Thomas Wu and his billionaire brother, Eugene Wu, respectively. Their late father, Wu Ho-Su, built a fortune in trading and textiles starting in the 1940s.
