About Me

Steve Case cofounded investment firm Revolution, which has invested in over 200 companies. His Rise of the Rest tour funds startups from non-coastal states, stopping in cities to a host pitch competition for a $100,000 investment. Revolution has also invested in restaurant chain Sweetgreen, fantasy sports firm Draft Kings and wine retailer Vinfolio. In 1985 Case helped found Quantum Computer Services. He became CEO in 1991 and changed its name to America Online (AOL). AOL merged with Time Warner in 2001 in a $164 billion deal that was eventually deemed one of the worst mergers in history.
