Philip Fayer is the founder, CEO and chairman of Canadian fintech firm Nuvei. Nuvei in went public in 2020 at a $6 billion valuation and raised $700 million, the largest tech IPO on the Toronto Stock Exchange at the time. The firm, based in Montreal but with staff across six continents, processes payments in more than 150 currencies and generates more than $1 billion in annual revenue. Fayer, PE firm Advent International and others took Nuvei private in a $6.3 billion deal in 2024. Fayer owns around a quarter of the company. A Canadian native, Fayer was reportedly raised in Israel and Belgium and is a pilot and race car driver.
