Liu Wei is the chairman and CEO of Shanghai-based online games developer miHoYo, which he established in 2012 with college friends, Cai Haoyu and Luo Yuhao. Liu took over the reins from Cai after he stepped down from the helm in 2023. The company is best known for its anime-styled adventure games such as Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. Cai and Luo are also billionaires. Apple CEO Tim Cook described that he found a "phenomenal team" at company after a visit to its headquarters in 2023.
