About Me

Liu Jincheng is the chairman of Eve Energy, a battery maker listed in China's tech hub Shenzhen. A smaller competitor to China's BYD and CATL, Eve Energy supplies to auto, wearable devices, renewable energy and other sectors. Born in a village in China's central Hubei province, Liu worked at a state-owned factory upon graduating college. He later went on to study electrochemistry at Wuhan University, and worked as a battery engineer before founding Eve Energy in 2000.
