Gregory Bentley is chairman of infrastructure engineering software developer Bentley Systems. He was CEO from 2000 to 2024. He joined the company in 1991 after selling a financial trading company he co-founded with brother Barry for $50 million. His younger brothers Barry and Keith founded the software company in 1984. Bentley Systems develops and sells computer-aided design (CAD) software for architects and engineers working on public and industrial infrastructure. The $1.5 billion (sales) company remains majority owned by the Bentley family.
