D.V.Manjunatha is the chairman and managing director of Bangalore-based solar panel and cell maker Em Vee Photovoltaic Power. He listed the company on the Indian bourses in November 2025. His older son Suhas is CEO while his younger son Sumanth heads business development. He's planning a $625 million expansion to boost manufacturing capacity over the next two years. He started Emm Vee Group in 1992 to manufacture thermal and photo voltaic products later moving into solar heaters.
