About Me

David C. Paul is the founder and executive chairman of spine implant manufacturer Globus Medical. A mechanical engineer by training, Paul moved to the U.S. from India to get his master's degree at Temple University. Paul worked as an engineer for medical device giant Synthes before leaving in 2003 to start Globus. Paul took Globus public in 2012. In 2017 Paul stepped down as CEO due to a "health condition," according to a company press release.
