Andrei Kuzyaev's fortune is derived from Luch Capital, an investment firm whose portfolio includes ER-Telecom, the third-largest broadband internet provider in Russia. In 2022 Luch Capital rebranded from its former name Perm Financial and Industrial Group (PFIG), which Kuzyaev started in the 1990s. PFIG had a 27% stake in Lukoil-Perm, a production unit of the oil giant, which Kuzyaev sold to Lukoil in 2003. In 2022 PFIG was domiciled from Cyprus back to Russia.
